2 pieces (53" x 40" and 13" x 80")
Whoa! Dig that crazy '70s patriotism! Stars and stripes all over!
Both pieces are hemmed at the edges. This is excellent retro fabric and would make great curtains or seat covers, I suspect, although I can't tell at all how the original owner used them.

Story and pictures by Syd Hoff

Chester is tired of his wild life, so he heads to the city to find some fun. Oh, but he's a horse, so there are complications. As always, Syd Hoff's illustrations are adorable.

What are these flowers? I have no idea, but I love the colors! Large pink, green, turquoise, blue, and white flowers on both sides of the pillow case.

My mind was a bit blown by this book, because I learned that there is a breed of daffodill that only grows 4cm high! It's too cute to imagine, so I'll have to buy some to grow at home.

A lovely little book about the endangered little Key deer that live in Florida Keys. The illustrations are enchanting!

The artwork in this book is perfect. Pretty paintings about a pretty little doll who needs to find its way back home.

A scruff, proud, troublemaking cat finds friendship with adventuresome fishermen. His fierce independence makes him invaluable to the crew! Such a hero, to be certain.

It's from a time when people were trying to understand more about Native Americans, but still called them Indians. It's pretty neutral politically and just tries to teach about history.

I don't usually like Disney stuff, but this is a great craft book for tiny tots! The crafts in here are very, very easy to make, and they're actually kind of cute, in an old-fashioned kind of way.

I love Gus and his peacemaking ways! He tries to keep the humans pleased even when they're at odds with his animal friends.

King Grisly-Beard A Tale from the Brothers Grimm
Pictures by Maurice Sendak
Farrar, Strauss, and Giroux, 1987
Two Maurice Sendak characters walk into a production of a Brothers Grimm tale and add something wholly different and delightful.

A fun game about football! It includes 2 sets of cards, instructions, a pad of play sheets, and comes in a plastic case.
I wish I knew when this game was produced! It seems to be sort of '70s looking, with kind of retro-looking illustrations of football players.
